Veteran Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has jumped into the sizzling debate over frequent on-screen kissing scenes and her comments are turning heads

Responding to the backlash aimed at her colleague Bolaji Ogunmola for intimate scenes in movies, Uche took to Twitter/X to shut down assumptions about the glamor of love scenes. According to her, what fans see on screen isn’t fun or exciting to film at all, and the reality behind those passionate moments is far more professional  and awkward than people imagine.

“Love scenes in films are not fun to film. Not the way you guys think,” the actress stressed, reminding critics that acting is serious work, not just playtime for actors. Her message comes amid heated reactions online, with many applauding her honesty and others sparking even more debate about intimacy in Nollywood productions.

Fans and followers are buzzing some say she’s bold for defending her colleague, others think the industry needs to rethink romantic scenes altogether. What do YOU think is she spot-on, or missing something big?
