Nigerian singer and hypeman Slimcase has described Wizkid as having the most extravagant lifestyle in the country’s music industry.
In an interview shared on X on Thursday, Slimcase said, “If I can get just 10 per cent of Wizkid’s enjoyment, I am set for life. Wizkid enjoys luxury quietly, without showing it off on camera.”
Slimcase, born Oluwafemi Oladapo, grew up in humble circumstances and once earned ₦15,000 a month working in a factory before rising to fame in Nigeria’s music scene.
He is credited with popularising the viral “Shaku Shaku” dance and music trend and has worked with top Nigerian artists including Wizkid, D’banj, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, and 2Baba. His collaboration with Wizkid on “Gucci Snake” remains one of his most popular songs.
Beyond music, Slimcase is also a content creator and influencer, citing Don Jazzy as a key inspiration for this side of his career.
