Nigerian street-pop star Zinoleesky has reportedly taken a major step in his music career, officially parting ways with Marlian Music.

According to recent reports, the singer has now exited the label owned by Naira Marley, marking the end of a partnership that played a huge role in his rise to fame.

Zinoleesky, who joined Marlian Music around 2019 and quickly became one of its biggest stars, is said to be moving forward independently. As part of this new chapter, he has launched his own record label, ZINODICT MUSIC, signaling a shift toward full creative and business control.

This move is being seen as a strategic decision, allowing the artist to own his sound, brand, and direction without external restrictions. Industry watchers say it reflects a growing trend among top African artists choosing independence to secure long-term success and financial control.

The transition also comes amid years of controversies and speculation surrounding Marlian Music and its artists. In the past, Zinoleesky had dismissed rumors of leaving the label, even publicly affirming his loyalty during online debates.

Now, however, this reported exit appears to confirm a complete shift in direction.

To mark the new phase, Zinoleesky has already released fresh music under his new imprint, kicking off what many believe could be the most defining era of his career.

Fans are reacting strongly online, with many praising the move as a bold step toward independence, while others are watching closely to see how he performs without the Marlian brand behind him.
