Popular Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana has stated that his most important current assignment is "winning souls for Christ." The statement was made in a Facebook post on Sunday, amidst criticism regarding his recent appointment by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The appointment, which saw Cubana named the South-East Coordinator for the APC's City Boy Movement, a group campaigning for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, drew backlash from social media users. Critics cited the APC administration's alleged role in the country's economic hardship.
In his Sunday post, Cubana wrote, "the MOST important assignment now is winning souls for Christ." He also added a note of positivity, stating, "Our week is way too blessed and full of fruitfulness, amen! Awesome time in God’s presence as always".
This announcement follows Cubana's recent spiritual guidance by Pastor Jerry Eze, the Founder of Streams of Joy International.
