Organisers say the goal is simple:
recognise content where it is consumed no matter the region or language.
From Lagos to North Africa and Central Africa, filmmakers now have a bigger platform to showcase their work on a global stage.
star power and fierce competition already building
The nominations list is already packed with heavyweight names like:

Meanwhile, films such as Gingerrr, The Herd, and My Father’s Shadow are expected to battle it out for top honours, setting the stage for a fierce showdown.
save the date it’s going to be massive
