Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has publicly accused fellow actor Zubby Michael of using the title of her unreleased and trademarked project, Queen of Guns.
In a video circulating on social media, Okorie expressed outrage over the situation, revealing that she invested nearly ₦100 million into the film and stands to lose significantly due to the unauthorized use of its name and promotional materials.

Okorie explained that her movie has not been released on any platform, as her Manchester fanbase was slated to view it first before a wider rollout. However, a YouTube search reveals multiple films now using the Queen of Guns title, including one posted three weeks ago starring Zubby Michael and another featuring Okorie’s promotional images on an old, unrelated film.
Directing her frustration at Michael, Okorie questioned why he allowed his project to adopt her trademarked title rather than sticking to its original working title.
“Queen of Guns is not out yet. It’s not out on YouTube; it’s not out anywhere,” Okorie said. Addressing Michael directly, she added, “Even Zubby, you accepted that kind of thing. How dare you? You shot a movie with a working title. Why did you not use your working title to push your work? That movie is what I shot with almost ₦100 million, and mine is trademarked.”
