Arsenal teenager Max Dowman has entered Premier League history after becoming the youngest player ever to win the title at just 16 years and 144 days old.

The highly rated midfielder now sits above some of the biggest teenage names the league has ever seen, including Phil Foden, Ryan Giggs, Nicolas Anelka, Gaël Clichy and Curtis Jones.

Dowman achieved the milestone after making enough appearances during Arsenal’s title-winning campaign to qualify for a Premier League winner’s medal.

For a player still only 16, it marks a stunning breakthrough season and adds another major moment to his fast-rising career.

Dowman had already written his name into the record books earlier in the season when he became the youngest goalscorer in Premier League history.

He scored a brilliant solo goal in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Everton in January, when he was just 16 years and 73 days old.

On the final day of the campaign, he also became the youngest starter in Premier League history after being named in Arsenal’s starting XI at Selhurst Park.

His latest achievement means he has now gone beyond Foden, who previously held the record as the youngest Premier League title winner.

Foden was 17 years and 350 days old when he won the title with Manchester City during their famous 2017/18 season.

Below are the next 10 youngest players to win the Premier League title after making at least five appearances in a title-winning campaign.
