Bayern Munich have been crowned champions of the German Bundesliga for a record 34th time.
The title was confirmed on Sunday after Bayer Leverkusen, who were in second place, drew 2-2 away at Freiburg.
Bayern had played a 3-3 draw against RB Leipzig on Saturday, coming back from two goals down to lead, only to concede a late equaliser in stoppage time. That result meant Leverkusen had to win their game to keep the title race alive — but they couldn’t get the job done.
The result also gives Bayern striker Harry Kane his first major trophy since moving to Germany.
This marks yet another successful league campaign for the Bavarian club, strengthening their dominance in German football.
