Major drama at Burna Boy’s latest concert in Denver! While performing at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Grammy-winning artiste spotted a fan in the front row totally asleep and paused the show to call the couple out.
He told the guy to take his partner home before he’d continue with the performance and the crowd watched in complete shock.
Now, he’s hit back at the backlash, saying:
“I no tell una to be my fans … We dey look for fans wey get money this period oh.”
Yup you heard that right! Burna seemed to suggest he chooses the kind of fans he wants, and if you’re distracted, sleeping or just vibing low, maybe you’re not one of them. Some fans are cheering the boldness, calling it him enforcing respect. Others are fuming, saying they paid for the show and deserve better than being treated like trouble.
Whether you love him or hate him, one thing’s for sure: Burna made it clear on his watch, the concert is his kingdom and sleeping in the front row is apparently a major no-no.
