Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has opened up about the unfinished plans he had with late South African rapper AKA and fans are buzzing. In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, Burna revealed that the two artists had squashed their long-running feud that began back in 2019 but never got the chance to fully reconnect or make the collaboration they once dreamed about.
The feud reportedly started after tensions at an AFCON match when AKA shared screenshots of alleged hate messages online. But Burna says their beef was secretly resolved over Twitter DMs something very few people knew about.
In his emotional post, Burna wrote that although they had patched things up privately, they never linked up properly to work on music or fulfill plans they once had and he’ll regret that until he meets AKA again.
This revelation has set social media alight, with fans debating what could have happened if the stars had collaborated before AKA’s passing — and if even bigger hits were lost to time.
