Celebrity manager Asa Asika didn’t hold back, dropping major praise for client Davido on a recent podcast. According to him, the Afrobeats superstar isn’t just a musician he’s the most influential person in Nigeria.
Asika didn’t leave out the visuals: apparently, only two people are allowed into Davido’s personal circle Diplo and Chris Brown. And he’s not shy about confessing his bias: “Davido is probably…I don’t care what anybody says, I think Davido is the most influential person in Nigeria.”
He went on to highlight Davido’s branding genius: every partnership he has aligns with his personal brand, and his team “finds ways to weave brands into his identity without compromising it.”
Fans online have been divided some hail it as obvious truth, while others say it’s just #AsaStanning extra hard. One Twitter user quipped: “If you don’t believe, eat grass.”
