Fido, the 27-year-old Afrobeats thunderbolt with a heart full of hustle, has finally dropped the music video for Joy Is Coming and it’s everything fans hoped for.

Months after the audio turned streets into dancefloors and TikTok into a shrine of vibes, the video lands like sunrise on a rainy morning.

Directed by Lagos’ visual alchemist, Filmboi, the clip is a colour-drenched trip through triumph. From bustling streets to stages built on spirit, Fido dances with a kind of conviction that screams: I’ve seen the storm — now feel my sunshine.

You remember the hook:
“And if e no be Galala, I go give dem Fuji
Mòdupè, Òluwá, Òluwá, ye-ay
Joy is coming.”

Yeah, it hits harder now with visuals stitched in hope and rhythm.

Since its December 2024 debut, Joy Is Coming has carried Nigeria on its back — five weeks at No. 1 on TurnTable Top 100, chart-topping on Apple Music Nigeria, and streaming like a flood on YouTube (3.6 million and counting). It didn’t just soundtrack the streets; it became a banner. A banner of survival. A mantra of resilience.

Funke Akindele vibed to it. Davido co-signed it. TikTok ate it. The people made it scripture.

Now, with dancers moving like daylight and Lagos painted in celebration, the visual adds muscle to a song already rich with memory and meaning. Fido’s charisma lights up every frame.
