Speculation linking Erling Haaland with a move to Barcelona has been addressed by the Manchester City striker’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, who provided clarity on the rumours.
Speaking via a tweet shared by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Pimenta emphasised that there has been no contact between Haaland and Barcelona regarding a potential transfer.
“We have a lot of respect and admiration for Barcelona, but there hasn’t been any contact whatsoever — with Erling Haaland or with Barcelona’s management, regarding potential transfer targets,” she said.
Pimenta further revealed that Haaland recently renewed his contract and is fully settled at Manchester City.
“Everything is going very well for him and we really have nothing to discuss about a transfer when everything is so good at City,” she added.
The statement comes amid ongoing rumours linking the Norwegian striker to Barcelona during the club’s recent election period, providing fans with clarity on the forward’s current intentions and commitment to City.
