Popular gospel singer Victoria Orenze has sparked fresh reactions online after dropping a fiery message to Christians about the true meaning of faith and obedience to God.

In a post shared on her social media pages, Orenze reminded believers that owning or gifting a Bible does not make anyone righteous unless its teachings transform their lives.

She wrote, “The Truth is always bitter and we hate to hear the Truth, but it won’t change. The Bible is not a graven image; having it or giving it without letting it change our lives does not make us right or good or holy people.”

The ‘Covenant Keeping God’ singer said too many people treat the Bible like a charm rather than a guide to righteous living, insisting that God demands obedience, not mere display of religion.

She continued, “We must fear, honour and obey the God in the Bible or leave Him alone. If a lot of us followed just 10 percent of what God said in the Bible, our country and our world would be different.”

Orenze, known for her bold spiritual messages, added that God’s Word stands above politics, race, or tribe. “The Word of the Lord does not care about politics, race, tribe or the likes, and I am on the Lord’s side,” she declared.

Her message has since gone viral, drawing praise from fans who hailed her courage to “speak the truth without sugarcoating,” while others described it as “a timely wake-up call” to the church.
