Jake Paul has broken his silence after news of Anthony Joshua’s terrifying road accident, sending prayers for the boxing superstar and the victims involved.

Sharing a heartfelt post on social media, Paul wrote:

“Life is much more important than boxing. I am praying for the lost lives, AJ, and anyone impacted by today’s unfortunate accident.”

The crash happened on Monday along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State, Nigeria, claiming the lives of two male foreign nationals. Joshua was lucky to escape with minor injuries.

The message comes just 10 days after Paul suffered a sixth-round knockout defeat to Joshua in their much-publicized heavyweight showdown in Miami, Florida, a fight that also left Paul with a double jaw fracture requiring surgery.

Despite their recent rivalry and the intensity of their fight, Paul’s statement shows a moment of empathy and respect, reminding fans that life outside the ring is far more important.

Joshua was reportedly travelling in Nigeria at the time of the accident. Investigations are ongoing, while fans and fellow athletes continue to send messages of support and prayers on social media.
