Jennifer Lopez Celebrates Twins’ College Acceptance and Scholarships
Singer, Jennifer Lopez has revealed that her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme (who now goes by Oskar), were accepted into every college they applied to, even while navigating ADHD challenges. Both teens also earned scholarships to at least one of the schools they applied for.
Twins Excel Academically Despite ADHD
The 56-year-old superstar shared with Extra how proud she is of her children’s hard work and dedication. “I watched how hard they worked, from fifth grade onwards,” Lopez said. “They have ADHD, so they need to learn differently. There were struggles and tough times, and I’m just so proud of them because they did what they said they were going to do, and they’re good people.”
Lopez emphasized that her children value character as much as grades. “I always say to them, ‘Doesn’t matter if we get good grades so long as we’re good people.’ And they still sometimes quote that back to me,” she added.
Scholarships and College Choices
While Lopez did not reveal which colleges her twins ultimately chose, she confirmed that both applied to multiple universities and received scholarships. “They all got into all five colleges that they applied to. Each one received a scholarship to a school,” she said.
Emotional Moments for Mom
Earlier this month on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Lopez admitted she has been emotional preparing for her twins’ transition to college life. “Tomorrow one of them graduates [high school],” she said, joking, “Don’t talk about it ‘cause we start crying.” She added that she is supportive of her twins attending separate colleges, prioritizing their happiness and personal choices.
