AC Milan has signed Portuguese forward João Félix on loan from Chelsea as part of their last-minute moves in the winter transfer window. The club, currently struggling in Serie A, hopes these new signings will boost their season.

Milan confirmed the deal on Tuesday, stating that Félix will remain with the club until June 30, 2025. Although the official announcement came after the deadline, the necessary paperwork was submitted on time.

The 24-year-old Félix had a tough spell at Chelsea, scoring only one league goal since his move from Atlético Madrid last summer.

The seven-time European champions also signed Mexican striker Santiago Giménez from Feyenoord for €32 million, plus add-ons. Giménez had an impressive run in the Dutch league, netting 65 goals in two and a half seasons.

Looking ahead, Milan will host Roma in the Italian Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday before traveling to Empoli. Their first leg of the Europa League play-off tie against Feyenoord is scheduled for next week.
