Fuji music star Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1, has criticised bloggers who report on the private lives of celebrities for traffic.
The singer made the remarks in a video recorded during a recent party performance, where he accused some bloggers of making money by exposing and exaggerating other people’s personal problems.
KWAM 1 warned that those involved would eventually face the consequences of their actions.
“To all you evil bloggers who blog about other people’s lives just to get traffic, keep going, you shall be rewarded. All evil bloggers will suffer until old age,” he sang.
He added that many bloggers focus on the shortcomings of others while ignoring the problems in their own lives.
“You know in your heart that what you’re doing is wrong, and you shall all receive your judgment. You blog about other people’s lives, yet yours is far from perfect,” he said.
Viral Remarks Spark Backlash
The singer’s attack on bloggers came days after he faced criticism over another viral video in which he spoke about his relationships with women.
In the clip, KWAM 1 reportedly said he deliberately left clothes, shoes and other personal belongings in the homes of women he had stopped dating, particularly those who had children for him.
The remarks attracted mixed reactions online, with some social media users accusing the Fuji star of treating relationships and the women involved with little respect.
The controversy deepened after a woman identified as Ogechi Eleana accused the singer of neglecting their 12-year-old daughter.
Eleana claimed she dated KWAM 1 for more than seven years before becoming pregnant.
She further alleged that the singer asked her to terminate the pregnancy and promised to send money for the procedure through one of his aides, but the money never arrived.
KWAM 1 later denied her claims during a stage performance.
The singer described the pregnancy as “useless” and referred to the child as “a free gift,” comments that triggered further criticism from members of the public.
His latest remarks have now sparked another debate, with some supporters arguing that celebrities deserve privacy, while critics insist that public figures should be prepared to face scrutiny over their words and actions.
