NBA legend LeBron James has opened up about his marriage, saying he would do anything to keep his wife, Savannah James, by his side.
The 40-year-old basketball star, who has been married to Savannah for over a decade, said during her “Everybody’s Crazy” podcast that he never wants to be alone. The couple, who met in high school in 2002, share three children, including Bronny James, who now plays alongside his father for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Speaking honestly about the challenges of relationships, LeBron said many athletes struggle with loyalty and pressure. “Relationships are hard as hell,” he admitted, before stressing how far he’s willing to go to protect his marriage.
“I know I don’t want to be alone, that’s for sure. If I’ve got to fight, crawl, scratch, bite, whatever to keep mine, I’ve got to keep it,” he said.
LeBron, who was raised by a single mother, added that being alone is something he never wants to experience again.
“I’m an only child from a single-parent home. Next time I’m alone, I’ll be underneath,” he said, hinting at how deeply he values his family and marriage.
