Nigeria’s award-winning powerhouse Bose “Mama Burna” Ogulu has officially celebrated a major milestone with her husband, Samuel Ogulu 35 years of marriage! The occasion was marked with a heartfelt tribute on her Instagram page, featuring a mix of nostalgic throwback wedding photos and recent snapshots of the couple.
In her touching caption, Mama Burna reflected on the journey she and her husband have shared:
“Thanking God for 35 years since we each said ‘I do’ & ‘Till death do us part.’
Thanking God for the journey, the roller coaster ride & the joy of watching the 3 musketeers we have been appointed caretakers of. Happy Anniversary to Us.”
Their “three musketeers” are, of course, their three talented children: Grammy-winning Burna Boy(Damini Ogulu), singer and mechanical engineer Nissi Ogulu, and fashion entrepreneur Ronami Ogulu.
As well-known pillars in Nigerian entertainment and especially as the mastermind behind Burna Boy’s meteoric rise Bose’s role as both mother and manager adds another layer of meaning to this celebration. It’s not just an anniversary it’s a legacy.
