Mercy Aigbe Mourns Mother

Tragedy has struck for Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe, who announced today that her mother, Abisola Grace Owodunni, has passed away.  

In an emotional Instagram post, Mercy shared a candlelit image with a heart emoji and the caption “R.I.P Mum”  though she did not reveal the cause or exact time of her mother’s death.  

Details about Abisola’s life were shared as well: she was a businesswoman who ran a supermarket and was known for her loving, yet disciplined parenting.  

Fans, colleagues, and supporters have already begun pouring in condolences online, sending prayers and messages of comfort for Mercy and her family.
