Big Brother Naija winner, Phyna, has stirred reactions online following her response to the news of fellow reality star, Emmanuel Umoh, set to tie the knot.

Emmanuel recently announced his engagement to a US-based Cameroonian woman, Cilia Nyanghe, sharing loved-up pre-wedding photos while revealing that their wedding is scheduled for April 17.

Reacting to the announcement, Phyna expressed happiness for him but used the moment to reflect on what she sees as a pattern among BBNaija alumni. According to her, it appears that male reality stars are more likely to settle down compared to their female counterparts.

In a candid reaction, she hinted that men from the show seem to face less public scrutiny, while women are often subjected to criticism and “allegations” that may affect their relationships.

Phyna also questioned the kind of support available for women within the same space, suggesting that the current generation may be facing challenges when it comes to finding genuine love.

Her comment, loosely translated from her post, implied frustration:

“Na only BBN boys dey marry… who go help us?”

The statement has since sparked mixed reactions across social media, with some agreeing with her perspective on gender bias, while others believe relationships are personal choices not tied to public perception.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel’s wedding announcement has continued to generate excitement among fans, many of whom are eagerly anticipating the ceremony and celebrating his new chapter.

Phyna’s reaction, however, has added another layer to the conversation one that touches on relationships, public image, and the pressures faced by reality TV stars beyond the spotlight.
