In response to widespread speculation, Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has publicly refuted rumors linking him to alleged marital issues between fellow actor Bambam and her husband, Teddy A.
The rumors surfaced following the release of the 2025 YouTube film “Love In Every Word,” which featured Arukwe and Bambam, and quickly gained online attention.
Social media users began to suggest that the on-screen chemistry between Arukwe and Bambam may have caused tension in Bambam’s marriage. Arukwe has strongly denied these allegations, calling them “false and malicious.” He has also stated that his relationship with Bambam is strictly professional.
Arukwe disclosed that he has identified a social media account that is allegedly responsible for spreading the claims. He warned of potential legal action against the account, stating, “A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry… that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation.”
The controversy has emerged amidst increased scrutiny of Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage. Online commentators have been speculating about potential strain, although the couple has not directly addressed the rumors. Bambam recently shared a video of herself and her husband on social media without commenting on the allegations. Teddy A has previously denied domestic violence claims, describing them as untrue. The situation underscores the challenges faced by public figures in the digital age, where rumors can spread rapidly and have significant implications.
