Comedian Okey Bakassi has sounded the alarm after an unknown man stole phones from a group of men playing football at an Ikoyi field.
Bakassi explained that he and a group of friends, described as upscale men, gather every Wednesday to play football at the field. On April 15, a young man unknown to them asked to join the game.
The group allowed him to participate, not suspecting any wrongdoing. Shortly after, the man pretended to be injured, moved to the bench, and stole eight phones before quietly leaving the scene.
Bakassi confirmed that the incident has been reported to authorities and revealed that a N5 million bounty has been placed on the suspect.
