Veteran Nollywood icon Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has finally shut down the 20 years-old gossip linking her in a bitter feud with colleague Genevieve Nnaji and fans are shook! In a candid chat on Yanga FM, Omotola dismissed the viral “beef” stories as nothing more than fan-made noise and media exaggeration.
According to the legend herself, there was never any real fight between them she says social media and fan comparisons simply turned friendly industry rivalry into a dramatic narrative no one asked for: “Na them start the quarrel before we know say we dey quarrel.”
She also made it clear that they don’t have to be besties to get along, brushing off rumours and urging fans to stop imagining conflict where there is none.
