Nollywood icon Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is celebrating a major career moment as her latest film Mother’s Love crosses the ₦100 million mark at the box office.

The milestone, announced shortly after the film’s release, places the movie among Nollywood’s top-performing cinema projects, showing strong audience turnout despite a challenging release period that coincided with both Lent and Ramadan.

Reacting to the achievement, the actress expressed deep appreciation to fans across Nigeria and West Africa, acknowledging their support in showing up for the film. She described the project as something “truly special,” urging more viewers not to miss out on the experience.

Beyond the numbers, Mother’s Love is also making impact off-screen. The film stands out as one of the few Nollywood projects with a strong philanthropic angle, with proceeds committed to supporting children in underserved communities through charity initiatives.

While the box office success has been widely celebrated, reactions online remain mixed, with some praising the impact-driven approach and others questioning the film’s performance compared to other recent releases.
