Photos: First images of Alexander Isak training with Liverpool released

After months of transfer drama, Alexander Isak has finally stepped onto the training pitch in Liverpool colours.

The 25-year-old striker, who joined from Newcastle United for £90 million in a club-record deal, trained with his new teammates at Melwood on Wednesday. It was the first time Reds fans saw their big signing in action since he completed the move less than a week ago.

Isak scored 35 goals in 67 Premier League games for Newcastle and was one of the hottest strikers in Europe this summer.

Liverpool beat Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain to his signature, making him the most expensive Swedish player of all time.
