Nigerian musician Ruger has publicly responded to a female TikTok user who expressed a desire for his death following a critique of his music.
The online clash began when the user labeled one of his tracks “misogynistic and homophobic,” before stating in a viral video that his death would benefit her mental health.

Sharing the clip to his official X account, Ruger dismissed the statement and directed sharp criticism back at the user’s personal appearance.
“I think I get a pass for her wishing me dead,” Ruger wrote. “So apologies to the feminists and body positivity activists. But this girl is worried about the wrong thing. Instead of her to be worried about her high intake of okpa. She is on the verge of getting a triple chin.”
