Popular Nigerian Afro-gospel singer and songwriter Akinade Ibuoye, popularly known as Gaise Baba, has mourned the death of his father, just seven months after losing his mother.
Gaise Baba shared the heartbreaking news on his social media page on Wednesday, revealing that his father, Prince (Hon.) Ezekiel Gbadebo Ibuoye, the Ààrẹ Apọ́nlẹ́sẹ̀ of Okemesi Ekiti in Ekiti State, passed away on Saturday, November 22, at exactly 7:31 p.m.
The singer described the loss as a heavy emotional blow, coming only seven months and seven days after the death of his mother.
Despite the grief, Gaise Baba said his family remains steadfast in their faith, drawing strength from God during this difficult period.
