Tyla, Wizkid unite for ‘Dynamite’ and it’s pure pop heat

South African powerhouse Tyla employs Wizkid on her latest 'Dynamite', off her latest project, WWP.

The track is everything the title promises: explosive, sultry, and built for the kind of nights that blur into memory.

Tyla, with her velvet-smooth vocals, glides through the beat like a whisper over warm skin. Then Wizkid slides in  calm, measured, radiating that trademark aura that turns simple lines into cult chants.

The production is pure heat: airy log drums beating beneath melodic layers, every note breathing in the same sentence.

It’s minimal but rich, leaving enough space for the chemistry between these two to shine. Tyla doesn’t force it; she seduces the rhythm. Wizkid doesn’t shout; he owns it. That’s the thing about both artistes, they command it.

Dynamite feels global, yet intimate. It’s the sound of two stars writing their names in the sand of African pop history, in letters big enough for the world to read. When Tyla says she wants to make Africa dance, this is what she means. When Wizkid shows up, he doesn’t just feature — he stamps a seal of timelessness on the record.
