A video circulating on social media shows Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly called Mr Jollof, involved in a fight on an airplane. Passengers can be seen trying to stop the confrontation.
Reports indicate the fight began before the plane took off. In the video, a person filming asks, “Who started it?” and another replies, “It was Mr Jollof.” Other passengers can be heard pleading with both men to stop.
So far, no official statement has been made by the airline, aviation authorities, or any government agency. Neither VeryDarkMan nor Mr Jollof has spoken publicly about the incident.
The reason for the fight is unclear. It is not known whether it stemmed from a disagreement, a misunderstanding, or something more serious. Passengers’ reactions in the video suggest the situation escalated quickly.
