Nigerian music producer and record executive Don Jazzy, the Mavin Records boss whose real name is Michael Collins Ajereh, has shared the qualities he seeks in an ideal romantic partner.
The revelation came during his appearance on the Is This Seat Taken podcast, hosted by actress Chinasa Anukam.
Don Jazzy explained that he is drawn to women with calm and gentle personalities, preferring partners who are soft-spoken and easy-going. He stressed that peace and harmony are essential in a relationship, noting that aggressive behaviour or unnecessary conflict is a dealbreaker for him.
“My ideal woman for dating, in order of importance: first of all, you have to be a freak. I don’t know how I found that out, but it is one. Secondly, you have to be soft both in body and personality. Because if you shout at me, you are dating yourself,” he said.
The music executive added that he does not tolerate stress or violence in relationships, making it clear that he would rather walk away than remain in a toxic environment.
“I don’t like stress. I don’t tolerate stress and violence. The moment you try to be nonchalant or violent, you will not see me again,” Don Jazzy said.
