Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi has arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, to complete his move to Besiktas from Leicester City.

Ndidi landed at the Atatürk Airport General Aviation Terminal on a private jet on Wednesday. He was welcomed by Besiktas officials and a group of excited fans.

The Nigerian midfielder smiled and took photos with fans before heading to the hotel where he will stay.

Besiktas had earlier announced that they were in talks with Ndidi for a permanent transfer. The deal is worth around €9.5 million.

Ndidi is expected to undergo a medical check-up before signing his contract and being officially unveiled by the club.

The 27-year-old played for Leicester City for eight years and made over 250 appearances. He won the FA Cup with the club in 2021 and helped them return to the Premier League last season.

Besiktas are hoping Ndidi will strengthen their midfield as they prepare for the new season and European competitions.
