Nigerian music power couple Adekunle Gold and Simi have marked their 7th wedding anniversary with heartfelt tributes on social media. The pair, who tied the knot in January 2019 after years of dating, shared emotional posts celebrating their journey together.
Adekunle Gold took to Instagram to describe his wife as his best friend, saying:
“Seven years ago, I married my best friend… We’ve laughed hard, grown deeply, prayed sincerely, and chosen each other again and again… my heart still knows where it belongs.”
Simi also poured out love for her husband, calling him “still the one” and expressing gratitude for the joy, peace, and love he brings to her life adding that their bond still “fits” just like it did when they first got together.
The anniversary comes shortly after the couple welcomed twin babies, making this milestone even sweeter for fans of the beloved duo.
