Nollywood star Regina Daniels has publicly broken her silence after her close friend Ann was reportedly arrested in Lagos, linking the shocking development to ongoing tension with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
In a series of emotional social-media posts, Regina said the arrest came out of nowhere and raised serious concerns about how it was carried out, claiming it was not done legally and expressing real worry for Ann’s safety.
Regina pointed out that what started as a domestic dispute has now escalated into accusations of drug involvement and now theft, which she feels are being shifted around to keep her life in constant turmoil.
“My dearest best friend was arrested yesterday… I fear for Ann’s safety as all of these are not being done legally,” she wrote, questioning why her ex continues to bring chaos into her life despite having “lived the best part” of his own.
She also referenced past social-media narratives where Ned allegedly labelled her friend with derogatory terms and repeatedly changed the story around Ann’s supposed wrongdoing a pattern she says has crossed a line.
