Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has hit back at a social media critic who questioned her on-screen chemistry with colleague Daniel Etim, particularly over their kissing scenes.
The critic had claimed that their chemistry was too convincing, suggesting it might be spilling into real life.
Responding via her X handle, Ogunmola dismissed the claim, arguing that the critic was reducing her work to only a few scenes while ignoring the full scope of the film. She also clarified that she and Etim do not interact outside of work.
“You are an absolute retard!! You watched to tweet stupidity and it shows. What is the entire film about, you nitwit!! You want to reduce my entire work to kissing. You are an absolute fool and all of you thinking like that. What foolish item. We don’t even talk outside of work!” Ogunmola wrote.
Her response underscores the ongoing scrutiny Nollywood actors face on social media and their need to defend professionalism in their work.
