Jake Paul has been hospitalized with a suspected broken jaw following his six-round defeat to former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in Miami.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer endured Joshua’s power throughout the fight but eventually succumbed to sustained punishment. Paul, 28, drove himself to the hospital after the bout, and his promoter, Nakisa Bidarian, confirmed he is expected to recover in four to six weeks.

Despite the injury, Paul remained in high spirits.

“I’m feeling good, that was fun, I love this sport,” he said, sharing images and videos on social media showing the impact of the fight and his jaw injury.

Paul said he plans to take a short break before returning to challenge for the cruiserweight world title.

“We will heal the broken jaw, come back and fight people my weight,” he added. “Anthony Joshua is a great fighter. I got beat, but that’s what this sport is about. I will come back and keep on winning.”

Reflecting on his performance, Paul admitted fatigue played a role in his defeat.

“I just got tired. It was a lot handling his weight. If I had better cardio, I think I could have kept on fighting. I did my personal best,” he said.

Joshua’s victory highlights why he remains one of the world’s top heavyweights, while Paul’s brave effort and determination have earned him praise from fans and fellow fighters alike.
