Nigerian singer Olawale Olofooro, popularly known as Brymo, has accused music industry colleagues 2Face Idibia, Burna Boy, and Davido of having knowledge of a 2019 incident in which he was allegedly lured to Chevron and pressured to join a secret cult.

Speaking on the Lahor Talk podcast, the singer stated that he is not seeking an apology, but rather demanding that all three artists publicly state whether they were involved.

Singer demands public clarification over 7-year-old dispute

Brymo explained that the incident occurred seven years ago in 2019 when he was invited under the pretense of being hosted, only to be confronted and pressured by individuals who invoked the names of the three superstars. Responding to whether he could forgive Burna Boy following their recent public spat, Brymo insisted that he expects them to address the situation directly or face damage to their legacies.

“Which forgiveness? I don’t have forgiveness on Burna Boy, 2Face or Davido,” Brymo said during the interview. “I want them to tell me that they truly don’t know about wetin happened to me for Chevron or not… Only to be told that I need to join cult. And they mentioned their names. Why are they still quiet about it since all these years if you’re not involved?”

He added: “I’m not asking for an apology. Just be a man and say, ‘Brymo, I have nothing to do with it.’ That’s what they have to say because as long as they don’t say that, they did it.”
