Chocolate City Music has publicly accused rapper Odumodublvck of assaulting one of its employees in the backstage area of the Rhythm Unplugged concert in Lagos earlier this week. According to the record label’s official statement, the incident happened on Monday, where Odumodublvck allegedly approached staffer Feyi Ajayi, issued threats, and then head-butted him without provocation. Eyewitnesses say that when a colleague tried to intervene, Odumodublvck and his crew poured drinks on the injured staff member and hurled abusive language at Chocolate City executives.

The label says Ajayi was hospitalised and is receiving treatment, and described the attack as part of a long-running feud between Odumodublvck and Chocolate City artists, especially Blaqbonez a rivalry that began with diss tracks and social media barbs earlier in the year. Chocolate City claims Odumodublvck has repeatedly lashed out with harassment, threats, and even physical confrontationsover the past year.

In a forceful statement, the company stressed that while rap beefs are part of hip-hop culture, physical violence and intimidation are unacceptable, and said it has reported the matter to the authorities as it explores all legal avenues to protect its team. Odumodublvck’s camp has not yet responded to the allegations.
