Afrobeats singer Adekunle Gold has cancelled his planned performance at Music City Central, citing issues with the event organisers.
In a statement shared on his official page, the singer said the organisers failed to meet important agreements and that the venue was not ready for the show.
According to him, the situation made it impossible for his team to deliver the kind of quality performance his fans expect.
“I won’t be performing at Music City Central today. Unfortunately, the organisers did not meet key agreed obligations and the event is not in a state that allows us to give you the show you deserve,” Adekunle Gold said.
The singer apologised to fans who had already made plans to attend the event, saying he does not take their support for granted.
“I know many of you made plans to see me, and I truly appreciate the love,” he added.
Adekunle Gold assured fans that updates about future shows and appearances would be shared on his official platforms, promising to continue delivering great music and memorable performances.
