Chris Brown has quietly deactivated his Instagram account, removing himself from one of the world’s biggest social platforms where he had over 75 million followers.
Before the deactivation, the singer posted a message hinting at frustration:
“Ima take a break from social media. You all done pissed me off long enough.”
The reason for the deactivation hasn’t been officially confirmed.
This move follows legal trouble: Chris Brown is reportedly facing a $16 million civil lawsuit from music producer Abe Diaw, stemming from an alleged incident in London’s Mayfair district in February 2023 where Diaw claims Brown assaulted him at a nightclub.
Fans reacted with concern, some speculating that Brown might be going through emotional or mental distress. Comments ranged from calls for self-care to worries over the singer’s well-being.
