Boxing star Devin Haney has filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiancée, Leena Sayed, demanding the return of approximately $350,000 worth of bags and jewelry.
The contested items include a Hermès handbag, an Audemars Piguet watch, a diamond ring, and diamond earrings all given as gifts prior to their planned wedding, which was later called off.
This legal action follows serious allegations from Sayed, who accused Haney of domestic abuse and secured a temporary restraining order against him. Previously, Haney had also sued her for extortion and defamation.
Public reaction has been mixed: some argue that gifts are meant to be kept once given unless there was a written agreement, while others believe Haney might have a case depending on any legal documents.
