After months of hype, Afrobeats heavyweights Wizkid and Asake have finally blessed fans with their joint EP, Real Vol. 1.
The project, announced simultaneously on the duo’s Instagram pages, was initially pegged for a late December 2025 release but got pushed back — until now. Fans got their first taste with the lead single, Jogodo, which premiered on January 16, and it did not disappoint.
Jogodo is a perfect showcase of the chemistry between the two stars. Wizkid slides in with his signature smooth, melodic flow, while Asake injects his energetic, gritty punch, creating a sound that’s equally chill and hype-ready — a vibe for the lounge and the dance floor alike.
The four-track EP also features Turbulence, Iskolodo, and Alaye, giving listeners a compact but versatile set of songs. An official music video for Turbulence dropped alongside the EP, adding visuals to the sonic journey.
