Kaka Igbokwe, former manager of music star Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, has confirmed that the old video showing the singer being arrested in London after an argument with his pregnant wife, Natasha Osawaru, is real.

2Baba travelled to the United Kingdom with Natasha for a concert tour but missed a scheduled show on 2 October 2025. His absence led to rumours that he had been arrested following a disagreement with his wife, who is also a member of the Edo State House of Assembly.

Speaking during Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live on Monday night, Igbokwe said the reports about the couple’s argument were true. He explained that he was part of the team in London and was on the same flight with them.

According to him, the issue started after they landed at the airport. Natasha became upset because she felt 2Baba walked off with fans who escorted him into a store, leaving her behind. When the singer realised she was not with him, he quickly returned, but the situation led to a confrontation that drew the attention of airport officials and resulted in his arrest.

The video, reposted on 1 December 2025, sparked fresh reactions online, forcing many people to revisit a story 2Baba had denied earlier. At the time, 2Baba had said he missed the show because of a medical emergency, and fans dismissed the arrest rumours.

The controversy resurfaced after blogger Tosin Silverdam shared what he called new evidence — a video clip showing officers speaking with 2Baba at London’s Gatwick Airport before leading him away.
Silverdam also posted another clip showing the singer and Natasha arguing, suggesting she was upset over the attention 2Baba received from fans.

Screenshots shared online appear to show police officers talking to the music star before escorting him out of the area.
