The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will take place on December 5 in Las Vegas, according to reports from ESPN and TUDN Mexico.

The tournament will feature 48 teams for the first time, with 12 groups of four nations each to be decided at the event.

The 2026 World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

This will not be the first time Las Vegas hosts the World Cup draw. In 1994, when the United States hosted the tournament, the draw also took place in the city, even though no matches were played there.

FIFA has not yet confirmed the venue or timing of the ceremony.
