Grealish Set for Everton medical as £50m loan deal nears completion

Jack Grealish is on the verge of switching  to Everton, with the England star heading for his medical this afternoon.

Everton and Manchester City are in the final stages of completing paperwork for the loan move, which includes a £50 million buy option. The clause is not mandatory, meaning the Toffees can decide whether to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old, who joined City from Aston Villa in 2021 for a British record £100 million, will also have the final say on his move.

If completed, the transfer would mark one of the biggest coups of the summer window for Sean Dyche’s side as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
