Jamie Foxx has revealed that he initially had doubts about becoming a father again at 58 before eventually embracing the idea of welcoming another child.
The Oscar-winning actor confirmed that he was “a little on the fence” about expanding his family after learning he was expecting a baby with his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.
Foxx, whose real name is Eric Bishop, is already father to daughters Corinne, 32, and Anelise, 17.

The actor explained that a conversation with fellow Hollywood star Al Pacino helped him feel more comfortable about becoming a father later in life.
Pacino welcomed a child in 2023 at the age of 83, which Foxx jokingly referenced when discussing his own situation.
Foxx also revealed that his serious health crisis in 2023 changed his outlook on family and the importance of appreciating life.
The actor suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke and spent more than a month in hospital.
“A few years back, I went through something horrible,” Foxx said, crediting his daughter Corinne for helping him recover.
He added that seeing his daughters embrace the new chapter in his life has meant everything to him.
Corinne has also expressed excitement about welcoming her new sibling, describing her father as “the best dad in the world.”
Foxx is currently promoting the latest season of the musical game show Beat Shazam.
