Liverpool Leave Salah Out of Inter Milan Match After Outburst

Liverpool have left Mohamed Salah out of the squad for their Champions League match against Inter Milan, following his explosive interview at the weekend.

Salah had accused the club of “throwing me under the bus” after he was left on the bench during the 3–3 draw with Leeds United — his third game in a row without a start.

Club sources say the decision was made with the full agreement of manager Arne Slot, and that giving Salah a short break from selection is “the best move for now.” Liverpool also confirmed there will be no formal disciplinary action.

Salah is due to leave for the Africa Cup of Nations next Monday and is also expected to miss Liverpool’s league match against Brighton.
