Olivia Dean crowned Uk’s new queen of pop

British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean has been crowned the new queen of UK pop after dominating the 2026 BRIT Awards with an impressive haul of major honours, highlighting her rise as one of the country’s most exciting musical talents. 


At the music ceremony in Manchester, Dean, 26, won four awards, including British Artist of the Year, Best Pop Act and Album of the Year for her critically acclaimed album The Art of Loving. She also secured Song of the Year alongside Sam Fender for their duet “Rein Me In.” 


Her success at the BRITs follows earlier global recognition: Dean recently won Best New Artist at the 2026 Grammy Awards, further cementing her status on the international stage. 


Known for blending soulful tones with pop sensibilities, Dean’s work  especially tracks like “Man I Need”  has topped charts and resonated widely with audiences across the UK and beyond. Her string of wins at one of Britain’s most prestigious music events marks a major milestone in her career and spotlights her as a defining voice in contemporary pop.
