Delta State’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, Ossai Ovie Success, has publicly criticized Asake (aka Ololade Mr Money) after the singer unveiled extensive new tattoos covering his face and much of his body.

In a passionate Facebook post, Ossai accused Asake of embracing “western exposure” and abandoning the humble beginnings that made him. What triggered him most was the visibility and scope of the new tattoos. They didn’t just decorate his body—according to Ossai, they symbolized a deeper detachment.

Ovie said Asake is showing signs of what he described as “mid-life anxiety,” struggling with fame, money, and seeming pride. He lamented that success sometimes leads people to lose sight of who they are. “Look at him and what he has become because of western exposure … exhibiting pride,” Ossai wrote.
